ASMI China worked with Beijing New Oriental Cooking School for a training program from in December 2013. This program has successfully involved over 300 students. Through the training, the general knowledge of Alaska and its seafood products were introduced. Moreover, the specialties and rich nutrition of Alaska seafood were also presented to future chefs. During the week, participants were taught how to properly prepare and cook Alaska seafood. Students had chance to try cooking Alaska seafood under the guidance of teachers. To finalize the training program, a cooking competition was organized at the end.
