The annual American Food Festival launched in a total of eight JUSCO outlets in Hong Kong. The event started out with seven outlets: Lok Fu, Tai Po, Whampoa, Tuen Mun, Kwun Tong, Lam Tin and Grand Waterfront from July 17 through the 30 and ran at the Kornhill Store July 24 though August 6. ASMI China is interested in participating in the event again, as the promotion was considered a productive way to boost sales of Alaska seafood, as well as effectively introduce the safety and high quality attributes of the products. Alaska salmon burgers, king crab, snow crab and black cod were the featured items of the promotion. Alaska seafood posters were provided and used to decorate the venues. Sales of Alaska seafood increased during the promotion compared to the period before the promotion.
