From May 13 to 16,ASMI participated in The Asian International Exhibition of Food and Drink, Hotel Restaurant & Catering Equipment Supplies and Services, Asia’s leading biennial food & hospitality trade show. The event was held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and Alaska seafood showed its characteristics of pure, nature and wild fully on the show.
As an international show, HOFEX of this year is the largest-scale by far, which attracted the multiple foods of 42 countries and areas in the world. Every year, ASMI sets booth in HOFEX and has built a prestigious position in local gourmets’, chefs’ and traders’ minds. Five species of Alaska seafood on the show—-salmon, king crab, snow crab, Dungeness crab, black cod and halibut was displaced. ASMI’s booth featured the standard trade show display case with a variety of species which attracted much interest throughout the four day show. Through the detailed introduction by ASMI, the visitors have known more about the Alaska seafood. The merchants and consumers also give a high praise and objective evaluation on Alaska seafood. Especially the sample dishes made from Alaska seafood have received a warm welcome from the local people. All of these have built a foundation for the development and the promotion of Alaska seafood on Hong Kong market.
ASMI always show a high respect for various international and influential exhibitions and shows, and play an active role in these activities. Worth to be mentioned, ASMI technical director Randy Rice came to attend HOFEX in person this time and gave a high praise for the show. In HOFEX, ASMI pursues their goal continually, looks for potential customers and make friends with visitors. There are still many hotels and restaurant in Hong Kong are looking forward to dealing with and using Alaska seafood.
