ASMI Chef Training Program in Chongqing

On October 16, 2012, Agricultural Trade Office, Consulate General of the U.S.A. Chengdu (ATO Chengdu) launched the Great American Food Ingredients Promotion – Chef Education Seminar in Chongqing. One U.S. guest chef gave presentation and cooking demos to 150 local professional chefs, F&B managers, restaurant owners, traders and distributors and journalists.
ASMI sponsored Alaska Pacific Cod and Yellow fin sole respectively for the event. The guest chef developed about 20 innovative recipes with Alaska Seafood products.

This was a great chance to introduce Alaska Seafood products to foodservice operators in Chongqing. Since 20 media were invited to the event, Alaska Seafood products were exposed to a broader audience through media reports and articles.
