Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute’s Gathering in Nanjing

On September 11, 2006 the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute organized a chef seminar at the Nanjing Sheraton Hotel. More than 50 people including local traders, supermarket purchasing managers and hotel buyers were invited to participate in the activity.

ASMI displayed Alaska salmon, king crab, snow crab, black cod and halibut at the venue. ASMI reps introduced Alaska seafood species, nutritional facts and product features. An educational VCD about Alaska seafood was played and POS materials were distributed to give attendees a better understanding of high quality Alaska seafood. AMSI also prepared dishes using Alaska salmon, king crab, snow crab, black cod and halibut as main ingredients to allow attendees a first-hand taste experience. ?At the end of the seminar, many traders and catering industry professionals expressed their hope to cooperate with ASMI and maintain the Nanjing Market together.
