Chef Seminar in Ningbo
ASMI launched a chef seminar at Ningbo’s Nanyuan Hotel on February 24th, 2005. Over 60 chefs from local hotels or restaurants attended the seminar. A guest chef was invited to prepare examples using Alaskan king crab, snow crab, black cod and salmon. When sampling the dishes, attendees were impressed with just how great the food was. After the seminar, chefs approached ASMI representatives asking for information about local suppliers.
Chef Seminar in Nanjing
ASMI’s chef seminar at Nanjing’s Crowne Plaza attracted over 220 chefs from local hotels and restaurants. Representatives from ASMI spoke and presented an informative video about Alaska seafood’s unique characteristics. A chef was invited to provide cooking demonstrations for the attendees, all of who showed much interest in the product and cooking methods.
Chef Seminar in Beijing
ASMI launched a chef seminar at the Beijing Vocational School on March 21st, 2005. The event targeted students and chefs from local hotels and restaurants. Professionals from the chef training school provided cooking demonstrations. Students and local chefs alike, showed much interest in Alaska Seafood and the cooking methods shown. An overwhelming amount of inquiries were made about the products and all requested that ASMI recommend local suppliers.
