In October, 2006, the ASMI cooperated with E-Mart once again to launch an Alaska Seafood Festival. Natural and wild Alaska seafood like salmon, snow crab, black cod and halibut were showcased for the festival. ASMI set up special promotional counter which was very eye-catching. Many consumers were attracted to purchase Alaska seafood. With the help of warm introductions from the promotional staff, distribution of elaborated recipes and free tasting on site, sales of Alaska seafood were greatly enhanced. At the same time, ASMI also placed an advertisement in the Shanghai Evening Post to further promote the event.
