Alaska seafood enjoys great popularity in Southern China

The best season to sell seafood is during Chinese New Year; there is an old Chinese saying, “No fish, No feast”. Seafood has always been the main course of a traditional Chinese dinner during Spring Festival. 

ASMI conducted several rounds of retail promotion during Spring Festival period in different supermarkets including Ito-Yokado and 58 CR Vanguard outlets in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai respectively. 

Retail promotion is one of the main promotional activities of ASMI China. In order to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year, all the promoters were in holiday dresses and product sampling were arranged during the promotion. All Alaska seafood products were sold at promotional prices in order to attract more consumers
