Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute Chef Competition took place between May and June. Over 70 chefs from local high-end hotels and restaurants were selected to participate in the competition. Each contestant was required to create two recipes featuring two varieties of Alaska seafood, including yellowfin sole and Pacific cod. All the dishes developed by the contestants were posted on the website of Yum Gather Cuisine Fashion’s WeChat and website, where all followers could vote. Also, a panel of judge was organized for the competition. 6 winners were crowned, 1 first prize, 2 second prize, 3 third prize with cash bonus. All the contestants were given a certificate alongside with the award.
